The University of Cambridge Mastercard Scholarship offers talented African students fully funded opportunities to pursue their master’s education, develop transformative leadership skills, and contribute to advancing climate resilience and sustainability in Africa and globally.
The fully funded scholarship, sponsored by the Mastercard Foundation, covers all expenses, including tuition, accommodation, living stipends, a laptop, books, and flight costs.

Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for this scholarship you Must:
- be citizen of an African country
- be ordinarily resident in an African country, unless you can demonstrate a temporary absence for study or work with the intention to return, or if you have been displaced.
- Apply for a master’s program at the University of Cambridge that is up to one year in duration.

The deadline for submitting applications for funding is the 5th of December 2024 for courses with a 5th of December deadline and 5th of January 2025 for courses with a 5th of January deadline. When making an application, pay close attention to the funding deadline.
