Eligibility Requirements for 2024
To be considered for the University of Florida Scholarship 2024, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Undergraduate Preparation:
At least one course in statistics
At least one course in each of the following psychology areas:
Biological bases (physiological, sensory, comparative)
Developmental changes (child/adolescent, lifespan)
Learning and cognition (behavioral analysis, cognitive processes)
Sociocultural/individual differences (social, personality, abnormal psychology)
Recent classes had an average GPA of 3.8 for the last two years. Applicants with an overall GPA below 3.0 will be considered only under special circumstances.

Benefits of the Scholarship
Funding: All first-year students are offered funding, with availability through five years for students making good progress.
Assistantships: Awarded based on teaching ability, research and technology skills, or other special expertise.
Tuition Waiver: Graduate teaching and research assistants typically have their in-state and out-of-state tuition costs waived.
Stipend: $25,000 for a 12-month appointment, plus a tuition waiver for four years.
