Erasmus Mundus Italy Imaging Scholarship
Eligibility Requirements
- Academic Background: Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in Information and Communication Technologies, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline. Additionally, candidates must have completed:
- At least 30 ECTS in Mathematics/Applied Mathematics, covering topics such as Probability Theory, Statistics, and Linear Algebra.
- At least 60 ECTS in Computer Engineering or equivalent subjects, including Object-Oriented Programming, Databases, or Signal/Image Processing.
- English Language Proficiency: Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in English through one of the following:
- TOEFL: CBT-210 / IBT-78 / PBT-547
- IELTS Academic: 6.0 or higher
- Cambridge Exams: CPE (Pass Grade C) or CAE (Pass Grade C)
- English Medium Instruction: A degree taught in English from recognized countries, such as the EU/EEA, USA, UK, Canada, or Australia.
- Note: Medium of instruction from countries other than the above-mentioned does not guarantee eligibility.

Application Process
To apply for the EMJM in Imaging, follow these steps:
- Submit Your Application via the Consortium Portal: Applications open on November 20, 2024, and close on January 5, 2025, at 13:00 UTC. All applications must be submitted exclusively through the Consortium portal.
- Apply for the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship: During the application process, students can also apply for the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship directly on the portal.
- Politecnico di Milano Application: If shortlisted, candidates will be required to submit an additional application to Politecnico di Milano by February 10, 2025. Detailed instructions will be provided via email after shortlisting.
- Selection Process: A dedicated Selection Committee will evaluate applications based on academic excellence, motivation, and recommendation letters. Applicants will be ranked into the following categories:
- Main List: Admitted students
- Reserve List: Self-funded students
- Non-Selected List: Not admitted
- Admission Confirmation: Successful candidates will receive an official admission letter, which will be required to proceed with their visa application.
